ENROLMENT SCHEME FOR APPLEBY SCHOOL

Appleby School will have an enrolment scheme in place from 3 June 2026

Appleby School continues to experience positive roll growth, and with that comes the need to carefully manage our student numbers within our existing classroom capacity.

The board of Appleby School has implemented an enrolment scheme that has been developed by the Secretary for Education. Under this scheme, students will be enrolled if they live within the home zone described below. The enrolment of out-of-zone students is governed by the provisions of the Education and Training Act 2020. The enrolment scheme, which includes a precise description of the home zone, may be viewed at the link below.

We want to reassure families that all students currently enrolled will keep their place, regardless of where they live. Siblings of students currently enrolled will have preference for out-of-zone places. If you have concerns about this, please call or come and talk to Danella or Janine in the school office.

If you live outside of the zone described below and intend to enrol at Appleby School, please fill in the enrolment form online and contact the school office to find out more about the process for out-of-zone enrolment.
