FAIR NEWS It's Fair time again! We are at that time of the year where we all need to start planning and prepping for our biggest fundraiser! Our fair this year will be held on Saturday September the 1st 2018.  Some main role holders have already met for the first brief meeting to get the ball rolling.

The Silent Auction is a large part of our fair and Laura has already started distributing call lists to contact businesses asking for monetary donations or items/experiences. This year we are looking for unusual or interesting donations so if you know of a business willing to donate or you run a business and would like to contribute we would love to hear from you! Laura would also like some more volunteers to take a small list of 5-10 businesses to call.

Clare is starting to collect chocolate and gift basket items for the chocolate wheel. There is a box in the school office to put items in. Examples of things we require are: stationary, toiletries, kids toys, tea towels, coffee mugs, coffee, tea and chocolate. All donations, big or small would be greatly appreciated!

This year we are going to have a WOW raffle. In the past this has been part of the silent auction, but it has been decided that for this year that it will be more of a stand out prize. We would love one or more sponsors for this package as it's cost will come in around $700-1000. (this includes 2 flights, 2 WOW tickets, accommodation and dinner for two). The more help we get the more money we make for Appleby School and of course our children!
