Next Friday 31st March we will have a visit from John Parsons who is an expert on Cybersafety.

John lives in Nelson but is highly sought after all over New Zealand, talking to students, teachers and parents about how to stay safe online. His presentations are down to earth and include lots of practical strategies for children and adults to allow them to stay safe.

John will work with the children during the morning sessions and will present a talk for parents/caregivers after lunch, at 1:30pm in the school hall.  See page two of this newsletter for details.

We hope as many parents/caregivers as possible can come along to John’s session.

The cybersafety sessions are part of our whole school Staying Safe unit which has been ongoing throughout term 1 and has also involved learning through Life Education, Sun-Safe NZ and Beach Education programmes.
