Our goal was to create an artwork that showed our thinking about a part of the school Vision. We chose ‘RESPECT’
It turned out to be a Technology unit and a Art unit.
First we has to complete a design brief each. That helped us decide what and how we were going to create.
Once we had the ideas we had to paint it.

Here is our finished work! You can even turn it around to change the pictures and read the words

We are proud of it.

Come and see it.
It is awesome!

At the Country Fair I got candy floss but I lost my candy floss. I got three lucky jars. My Mum got me a teddy lion. I won a spot prize it is a toy Ferrari. I won a soccer ball on the chocolate wheel raffle. At the end everything at the toy shop was free. I felt really happy when I won a spot prize. My best one was the chocolate wheel raffle.

Isaac

At the Country Fair I saw the pigs. The last pig didn’t get in the trailer so the man needed to wrestle the pig and it frightened me! I got a lucky jar and in the lucky jar was a Crunchy Bar and it was very yum!. I said, “I love those bars the best!” and I said,
“The fair was cool because I didn’t go on the army test.”
I felt happy at the fair. It was the best fair!

Conor

We have been writing our own legend about the Appleby area.
Our legend has Maui, kumara and the river as important parts.
We used what we have found out about Appleby when the maori people first lived here to give us ideas.
We used drama to get the idea sorted out. Now all we have to do
is illustrate the story and then we will share it!

Can you guess what happens in the story....?
